Another great way to promote yourself and sell your art work is through a website. The Global Arts can provide you with a fully functional website which you can update yourself and sell your work.
Unlike other artist website services, we help you integrate your own custom website design. No system templates are used and each website is different from the next.
You choose the platform, design and layout which is all custom built to your needs. Below are some examples of what has been offered in the past.
Case Study 1
The artists already had a wordpress blog and was used to the administration area and the system. So we installed Wordpress blogging system onto his own hosting account. The artists had good working knowledge of Photoshop, so we suggested that he designed his template using Photoshop. From his image we created a custom template for him and installed it in his blog / website. From there we identified certain plugins that could also be used to sell his work online.
Case study 2
The artists not very internet savvy wanted a website because she felt she was not utilizing everything she could to promote her work. She has her own studio which is where most of her sales took place. We suggested that what she needed was just web presence and suggested we built a small website for her where she could provide her contact details and up and coming exhibition dates. We built a static website using HTML. She decided she wanted to advertise the site as well so we helped her with various advertising platoforms such as Google Adwords. Since she has sold a few more pieces.
Prices
Pricing varies depending on complexity. We can put together a nice website with a gallery where you can sell your work for around £200, this would include a custom template. Please be aware that we dont provide web hosting or domain hosting. If you are unsure about website hosting or going about getting your domain name we can help you with this.
