Frieze Art Fair

There has been much hype with this years art fair with more pieces being sold and talk of art dealing returning back to normal. This maybe so, but where has the topic of quality art work been read?

This years Frieze art fair was partiucuarly bad in terms of inspiration and quality art work.
As I walked up and down the lengthy isles browsing hundreds of art works on display by the hundreds of galleries from all over the world i began to feel embarrased with the shere lack of skill, imagination and originality.

One gallery (which I wont mention), was displaying only 4 art works. Each had similar characteristics. They looked as if they had been created by a 3 year old child. I was astonished that in such a prestigious and renowned art fair known world wide anyone could display such work.

However, much to my pleasure I found one fantastic Bridget Riley painting that made the whole event worthwhile.
